Consortium’s Fall: Echoes of Xo'lara is a sci-fi roguelite twin-stick shooter about a people’s budding rebellion against a ruthless oppressor. Infiltrate enemy territory, defeat those who stand in your way and uncover secrets necessary to free your people once and for all.

 

I’m working in a small team to design a variety of enemies and weapon power-ups, aiming to enhance gameplay depth and provide engaging challenges. I’m also responsible for the game’s Steam marketing efforts, including capturing in-engine beauty shots and creating trailers to highlight the game’s visuals and features.

My Contribution

Bringing gameplay concepts to life, enhancing the experience through video edits, and fine-tuning quality through extensive testing.

  • Designed a range of unique enemy types to diversify gameplay and enhance challenge.

  • Developed weapon power-ups for primary and secondary weapons, adding depth and strategic options for players.

  • Conducted extensive playtesting to identify and report bugs, ensuring a polished and enjoyable experience.

  • Captured high-quality in-game beauty shots to showcase the visuals on the Steam page.

  • Oversaw the creation of the teaser trailer, directing its content and ensuring it effectively highlights the game’s features.
